3 stories featuring Mildred & her classroom antics!

The Mildred the Mammoth Trilogy

Mr. Lewington's classes quickly developed such a love for their class mascot, that Mrs. Lewington put her poetry skills to good use, and created the first Mildred story: Oh, Where Is That Mammoth. Featuring both Mildred and Mr. Lewington, it went down such as storm that Mr. Lewington soon began using it as a regular incentive for good behaviour and hard work, with all his year groups. Classes and assemblies alike have loved joining in (usually, with increasing volume!) with Mr. Lewington's oft-repeated refrain:

"Oh, where is that mammoth?
Oh, where can she be?
I'll have to go find her!
I'll have to go see!'"

Unsurprisingly, demands for a sequel soon followed. Now, Mildred accompanies Mrs. Lewington into schools to read her stories. Children are always excited to see Mildred, and bubbling over with questions for Mrs. Lewington. One of the most common questions she gets is: Is Mr. Lewington really that messy? Answer: Yes!

Oh, Where Is That Mammoth?

Mr. Lewington's class have taken hiring a new Teaching Assistant into their own hands: she's orange, fluffy, and eats absolutely everything! Will the children convince Mr. Lewington to let Mildred stay?

Mildred Strikes Again

Mildred has settled into her new job as Mr. Lewington's Teaching Assistant, but she's back to her old antics again! Food is getting eaten, children are getting snuggled, and Mr. Lewington is losing his hair!

Mildred and the Cake Sale

With an OFSTED inspection due whilst they're hosting a cake sale, the pressure is on for staff at Mr. Lewington's school! Unfortunately for the headteacher, Mildred's famous appetite has gotten out of hand again, with disastrous results!
